Mobile App
Learn how to add Meety to your phone's home screen and use it as a mobile app. Works on both iPhone and Android phones.
How to Add Meety to Home Screen
The process differs depending on your phone type. Follow the instructions below.
iPhone (iOS)
- Open Meety in Safari browser on your iPhone
- Go to Calendar (click on "Calendar" in the navigation)
- Tap the Share button (icon with arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen
- In the menu that appears, scroll to the right and find the Add to Home Screen option
- Tap Add to Home Screen
- You can change the name that will appear under the icon (default name is "Meety")
- Tap Add in the top right corner
Meety will now appear on your home screen with its own icon. Tapping the icon will open it as a standalone app.
Note: The "Add to Home Screen" feature is only available in Safari browser. If you're using a different browser (such as Chrome), open Meety in Safari.
Android Phones
- Open Meety in Chrome browser on your Android phone
- Go to Calendar (click on "Calendar" in the navigation)
- Tap the menu (three dots in the top right corner of the browser)
- In the menu, find and tap Add to Home Screen or Install App (Add to Home Screen / Install app)
- In the dialog box, you can change the name that will appear under the icon
- Tap Add or Install
Meety will now appear on your home screen with its own icon. Tapping the icon will open it as a standalone app.
Note: The process may vary slightly depending on your Android version and browser used. If you don't see the "Add to Home Screen" option, try:
- Using Chrome browser (best support)
- Checking if you have the latest browser version
- Looking for the "Install App" option in the menu
